The Stages of Growing the Locks Out

Well, I have had this cut for a couple of years now. It's very liberating and fresh. I love it, but I feel like I am at a point in my life where I need change again. I have grown my pixie out before into a bob, but this time I am fully committed to growing it out as long as possible. I am excited and it will be a journey, but I am ready.

My Hair Adventures Through Avenue Five

We started taking clients on Tuesday and Thursday of Avenue Two. I'm very excited about this new Avenue and the things to come throughout my journey of Cosmetology school. 

Today we went on a field trip to some of the beauty supply stores in Austin. We get great discounts on everything in the stores. It was so much fun to go around with my friends and instructor today! We even got to have a little fun with these awesome wigs.

David Heisler Photo Shoot- Avenue Five Hair and Make-up

Today some of my Avenue One Cosmetology class, and I helped the Senior Designers from the University Fashion Group at UT- David Heisler photo shoot with hair and makeup. There were 7-8 models with 19 looks. Each model varying in the number of looks they're in. We had a very successful day today. I want to make a shout out to our beautiful talented instructor Teela Spears for teaching us the techniques to *MAKE MAGIC*! Teela, we love you so much! Thanks to Natalie Poche for letting me know about this event, so happy we could help!
